Top 10 Male Football Players for 2022

The World Cup 2022 will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football championship of the FIFA nation football confederation (FIFA). It will be held in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. 32 national teams will compete for the trophy; it will be the first time three countries host the tournament simultaneously and the second time that two countries jointly host the tournament after 2002.

Cristiano Ronaldo

With a litany of individual awards and three FIFA World Player of the Year Awards, Ronaldo is widely considered one of, if not thee best player in history. Currently playing for Portugal’s Real Madrid club, he could very well go down as one of football’s all-time best by 2022. He already has a slew of titles to his name, including four Ballon d’Ors.

Lionel Messi

Football is often known as the beautiful game, and while Messi might not be on everyone’s favorite team, he sure is one heck of a player. Winning FIFA Player of The Year four times in a row (2009-2012), with over 200 goals scored so far, and an amazing 76 assists to his name, Messi continues to perform at an extremely high level of excellence. He also plays for one of Europe’s finest clubs, FC Barcelona.

Mohamed Salah

Although only 25 years old, Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has already made quite a name for himself in his relatively short career. He is currently playing with Liverpool and will be one of its top players until 2032. His speed, power, and skill set him apart from many other forwards in his generation.

Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne is a Belgian professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder for English club Manchester City and serves as captain of Belgium. He is described as being one of the most outstanding midfielders in world football with strong passing abilities, technique, vision, and creativity. De Bruyne is recognized to be one of the best players in his position. In 2015 he was honored by UEFA after averaging more than two assists per game across Europe’s top five leagues.

Antoine Griezmann

This French striker has proven to be a prolific scorer, winning back-to-back Golden Boots in La Liga while helping Atletico Madrid earn Champions League titles in 2014 and 2016. Griezmann is also lethal on set pieces and has excelled at attacking his opponents down both wings. This Frenchman could carry a nation on his shoulders to glory.

Eden Hazard

The Belgian is a superstar in his own right, who will continue to dominate English football in 5 years time. Eden Hazard’s game will get more clinical as he becomes a man, and should be hitting 20+ goals each season by 2022. Chelsea would be crazy to let him go, but if they do he’ll have no trouble finding another club and commanding top wages. Expect Hazard to continue at Stamford Bridge until 2021, when Barcelona or Real Madrid make their move.

Harry Kane

The 24-year-old soccer star Harry Kane has really made his mark on soccer in England, helping to establish himself as one of the most popular and marketable athletes in all of England. His career highlights include receiving a nomination for Uefa Best Player in Europe award and winning Footballer of Year from both PFA Fans’ Player of The Year awards and FWA Footballer of The Year awards.

Thibaut Courtois

This young goalkeeper’s career has been meteoric, with Chelsea willing to let Petr Cech go out of his long-held position as No. 1 to make way for Courtois.
